Hello, Internet!

It seemed like all the cool kids were starting blogs, so I decided to get one too.  And by "all the cool kids", I mean my one friend Manda (I'll link to her blog later).

So here I am.  My name's Erica, and I'm a freshman in college.  I've always been into all things sci-fi, fantasy, and technological, but only just recently considered blogging about them.  I had a great conversation about sci-fi TV shows with one of my new friends at lunch today.  He and I didn't watch many of the same shows, so I decided to do some exploring.  This blog will basically be my journey through the world of sci-fi, from (my) old favorites to anything new and exciting (for me, at least).  In addition, I'll likely throw in posts that aren't all sci-fi all the time.  I like a lot of different genres, so they'll probably make appearances as well.

I think that's all I have for now.  Hope there are some people who will actually read this!
